Cover Design

My last design 2 project. Split triad color scheme.

It's a Turritopsis rubia, a kind of jellyfish. I don't know the common name, oops.

The final design!

Fun fact: A pyrope is a kind of red precious stone.

Pyrope House: Floor Plans

Floor plans! I did most of the planning for these in my head. Those rectangles lining the living room on the first floor are an army of wonderful bookcases. I imagine this room filled with huge, soft, sink-in-able armchairs.

Another fun fact: the doors to the outside of the house don't swing, they swivel. Consequently, they can be opened to let in a breeze without getting in the way.

Pyrope House: Preliminary Sketches

The mad sketches of a girl who has no idea how to design a house.

I was tasked with creating a prefabricated home design for Design 2, which is something I had no experience with. The assignment limited the building to approx. 20'x40' with an eco-friendly bent. With only those details guiding me, I defaulted to my usual brainstorming method of filling as much space as possible with sketches. Not pictured: the myriad of similar doodles drawn in the margins of my class notes.
